SHENZHEN, China — Global smart home brand Gosund has announced Matter compatibility across its entire portfolio of smart sockets. Built on the Connectivity Standards Alliance’s open protocol, the upgrade breaks ecosystem silos for users worldwide.
All Gosund smart plugs can be natively connected to Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings without extra hubs. Consumers maintain full access to core functions including remote control, scheduling, countdown timers, energy monitoring and overload safety protection.
Existing sockets unlock Matter functionality via OTA firmware updates in the Gosund App. New units will ship with Matter pre-activated. The lineup covers US, EU, UK and Thai specifications and is available via major global retail channels.
